Attend the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, March 28, to demand the County protect existing residents and prevent massive displacement of vulnerable people.
Without urgent action by the Board of Supervisors
- Housing for 667 people will be lost:
- Food and meal delivery for approximately 100 permanently disabled individuals will end;
- Employment for 180 skilled and dedicated people will be eliminated.
The County must work in partnership with SSHH to resolve current financial problems in a manner that will protect residents and ensure the long time sustainability of this critical housing resource.
Under no circumstances can the County allow the immediate shut down of SSHH housing resources and risk putting 667 people on the street. The homelessness crisis in the County is too great for the County to add to it!
Add your voice and demand protection for SSHH residents!
